i-MathElevate Project with Elsevier and MSSF

The i-MathElevate Project is an innovative mathematics education initiative designed to strengthen teaching quality, improve student engagement, and promote practical, inclusive learning in secondary schools. The project is organized by Teach Girls Tech Foundation in partnership with Elsevier MSSF, with the approval of the Rivers State Ministry of Education.

The initiative brings together selected mathematics teachers for a blended professional development experience that combines hands-on training, continuous learning, and healthy competition. The project features a one-day physical workshop, monthly virtual webinars, and a final competition day scheduled for April 2026.

Through i-MathElevate, participants will explore innovative teaching strategies, technology-enabled instruction, and student-centered approaches aimed at improving mathematics outcomes in classrooms. The project also provides a platform for collaboration, peer learning, and the sharing of best practices among educators across the state.
